For the month of February 2026, Affordable Storage Guys Management is proud to support Cultivate Kindness, a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Bowling Green, KY, dedicated to spreading compassion and hope throughout the community and beyond.
Cultivate Kindness was created in honor of Tommy & McKenzi Loid and founded by Emily Loid and Robin Loid—sister and mother—who transformed their grief into a mission rooted in love, generosity, and service. Inspired by McKenzi’s lifelong commitment to kindness, the organization exists to uplift others in meaningful and creative ways.
How Cultivate Kindness Serves the Community
- Birthday Boxes provide party supplies for children and teens in Warren County, allowing families to celebrate special moments without financial burden.
- Kenzi’s Cupcakes delivers classroom cupcakes so students in Warren County and Bowling Green schools can feel seen and celebrated on their birthdays.
- Be the Light is an annual prom experience designed for differently-abled teens and adults, creating a safe, inclusive, and joyful night to remember.
- Cultivate Kindness Day, celebrated on December 14, honors McKenzi’s birthday and promotes awareness and acts of kindness throughout Warren County.
McKenzi Loid’s legacy continues to shine through every initiative. Known for carrying hygiene kits for the homeless, supporting women and children, and giving selflessly to others, her life embodied kindness. Even in her passing, McKenzi’s generosity lived on through organ donation that saved lives across Kentucky. Her personal motto—“Cultivate Kindness”—now serves as a guiding light for this impactful organization.
At Affordable Storage Guys Management, we are honored to support Cultivate Kindness and the incredible work they do to bring joy, inclusion, and hope to our communities.
