Affordable Storage Guys is proud to support Best Buddies as our October Non-Profit of the Month, with our support benefiting the Western Kentucky University Best Buddies program and its Champion of the Year initiative.
Best Buddies Friendship programs create meaningful, one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). These friendships provide opportunities for social connection, shared experiences, and greater inclusion while helping participants with IDD build confidence, self-esteem, and a stronger sense of belonging.
Through the Best Buddies program at WKU, students have the opportunity to build genuine friendships while helping create a more inclusive community on campus and throughout Bowling Green.
This October, Affordable Storage Guys is honored to support their Champion of the Year initiative and the continued work of Best Buddies to build a community where everyone has the opportunity to be included, valued, and connected.
We are proud to support local efforts that remind us of something simple but important: friendship and belonging are for everyone.
