Self-Storage Rental Guidelines
Affordable Storage Guys Policies and Procedures Overview
The following information is for your reference. It contains some important suggestions and pertinent information about the policies of our self-storage facilities.
Late Fees:
A $20 late fee will be applied if payment is not received by the 5th of the month, and access to the unit will be denied until the balance is paid. A partial payment does not stop fees or lien procedures.
Returned Checks:
A $30 fee is charged for returned checks, and all future payments must be made via an alternative payment method.
Insurance:
Occupant insurance is required. Failure to maintain it may result in restricted access or termination of the agreement.
Vacating the Unit:
The unit must be vacated by the end of the month, left clean and in good condition. Failure to do so will result in a $150 clean-up fee.
Notifying Management:
The office must be contacted when vacating, or the renter will be charged for the following month’s rent and any late fees.
Gate Access & Property Use:
The property is accessible 24/7. Misuse may result in restricted access or termination of the lease.
Office Hours:
Staff is available by phone 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

For emergencies, call 866-312-0336.
Proration and Lock Rules:
Rent is not prorated after the 5th of the month. Only one lock is allowed per unit, and additional locks will incur a $50 fee for removal.
Gate Access Rules:
Do not tailgate other vehicles when driving through the gate.
Changes to Contact Information:
Notify the property manager of any address, email, or phone number changes in writing.
Prohibited Items:
Smoking, pets, and mothballs are not allowed on the property.
Other Rules:
Keep drive lanes clear, do not block doors, and ensure delivery drivers do not block the driveway or gate.
We will strictly enforce all policies and conditions in our contract.
